As I am compiling my trip report I thought I would share the fishing highlights here. I am SOOO upset that we ran out of batteries for the camera on our last morning as we paddled out. It was definately our most exciting day as my girlfriend nailed 5 northerns and a nice smb as we trolled our way thru Deer lake on the exit. Anyways, here is some of the fun :)

Love the trout pic. They are a hard fighting fish. It always amazes me how a small fish will hit a big lure.

Some of our recent pics from Lac La Croix. Great week of fishing. Nice when you can release 16-23 inch walleyes and still eat all you want.
