Used Zman rigged your way for first time in Quetico this past week. Results? Grand Slam+ (LMB action on Meadows)!
Can't thank you enough for the recommendation! JohnO and I slayed SMB and LMB with top-water action, while adding split shot resulted in NP and walleye. Caught the laker trolling with a tail dancer, though. Zman plastic will be part of my tackle box on all future trips.

You are most welcome! It is always nice to hear of great results from people using the Zulu rig. I really haven't received any negative comments about Zulu fishing. I am just glad I could help and make your north woods fishing experience better. Zulu fishing has produced more and better smallmouth than other lure or presentation since I began using them personally. Post some pics of your fish if you have any.

That is not true :) My partner Tom, some years back, caught so many smallmouth one day he just put his rod down and said he was done. He said his arms couldn't take any more fish. Not really sure if he was complaining or not, but he actually stopped fishing. We caught hundreds of smallmouth that day, good ones. Mostly those 2.5 pound smallmouth that pull harder than anything else that size. My buddy Tom is no whimp either, he was a two time All-American linebacker. Me, I kept fishing! (and yes my arms were tired and my thumbs hurt from lipping so many) It was a great day!
