There is so many things I love about fishing in or near the wilderness. The smell of the Pines and the call of the wild. The beauty and ruggedness are a calling that I have answered for decades now.One of the great perks of a pastime like fishing is when you get home you get to remember the experience all over again when you see it on your plate. Id like to thank the many fish that I let go for the memories and Id like to also thank the few that decided to join me for dinner via the grill :-)

Well said Brad!!! Hey ... The rainbows were good here this weekend. Landed 21 Saturday . They are running smaller this fall , but still a hell of a lot of fun. My fishing partner landed a couple Golden Rainbows that were in the 17 inch range. All in all a great day!!!

That looks good. Catch and release has its place... But so does hook and cook.

Damn that looks good. I've got 20 minutes until lunch, and didn't even know I was hungry until I saw this pic. I have a salad for lunch but my mind wants fish badly!

Yes, indeed.

Golden Rainbows must be biting well this time of year. I saw GOAR hooked into a couple last weekend on her Facebook page also. They look like nice fish

Amen brother. Eating fish I have caught always gives me a burst of energy. There is nothing processed, nothing artificial. I used your suggestion of Italian bread crumbs. I go fifty fifty with flour and I'm real happy with it. The mix is on my counter all the time. I've gotten good at frying fish this summer. Going to experiment with BBQing a bit more. Having pike fillets today. Yummy.

If pike didnt have the Y bones to contend with, I think they would be even more popular than walleye in this state, because when you get them from a cold clean lake, pike are outstanding to eat.
