Has anyone used or had success with these? They also have fathead's, leeches and suckers. We always bring leeches and crawlers, but I've hesitated trying to keep minnows alive. I know some of you salt and preserve your own minnows, would these make an easy alternative?
Thanks!

i've used the one's in the post, twister tail might be better ? we bring in a 6-pack cooler. i put minnows(different size suckers) in multi ziplocks with water freeze them then layer them in the cooler. they last about 6 days.
keep your line wet, good things will happen

A buddy of mine used them one year. The salted minnows we had worked much better. Salting is very very easy. And very very deadly. Honestly, in the time it would take you to drive to cabelas you can pick up some minnows at your local shop, salt them, wait a few weeks (depending on minnow size and how cured you want them) and they will definitely work better, in my opinion.

We used the exact ones as the link last year and they worked ok. I've never salted my own minnows but I would give it a shot before I took the Magic ones again. If your by a sporting goods store it wouldn't hurt to grab a bag and try them for yourself. They're pretty cheap and no special care is needed.

Salted minnows have fallen off in popularity due to the plethora of GULP products. I've used both through the years and my advice would be forget about salted minnows and go with 3-4" GULP minnows instead. One bag will last you a whole week or more...you can catch WAY MORE fish on one GULP minnow than you ever will on a salted minnow. Having endorsed GULP, I would go on to say I haven't done as well with their line of leeches...when it comes to leeches the walleyes seem to prefer the real deal...at least for me it seems they do.
