So can anyone recommend an entry point and trek that will offer some good fishing for a couple of average fisherman the week prior to Memorial weekend? We might end up going in the week after Memorial day depending on college getting out. I am thinking about Little Indian Sioux and around to Agnes and out at Moose river. Any thoughts?

BEFORE Memorial day: up the Gunflint in search of Lakers....Duncan, Tuscarora, Seagull, Alpine. AFTER Memorial: up the Echo Trail...LIS, Loon, Fourtown (little lakes around it) for SMB and walleye. ON A LARK: Gabbro for Crappie, walleye, smb.

Before memorial day I would be thinking lakers also. Tuscarora, Crooked, Gillis area is great laker fishing during that time frame.
