I know that this question was raised on a prior post, but it is buried on a different subject thread, so:

Has anyone experienced the mayfly hatch yet?

If not, please come back and post an update if you do see it. If we are 2 weeks behind in bug/fish timing up there as some have suggested, I would think that this should happen soon.

Big hatch on Clear Lake last Wednesday.

Pretty significant hatch on Bald Eagle last week. The tiny pike (hammer handles) were nearly jumping on shore to partake... We still did well with the leeches on the hot spots.

why are they called mayflys when they always occur in June? :)

Not completely true about June, We had a pretty significant mayfly hatch on Koma this year around May 18-22
