Ive done the jello cooking thing- love it but the rest of my clan doens't care for that kind of food. They like to eat and go to bed or fish or .... So I need additonal ideas - we do the precooked spag noodles with dehydrated burger, pasta with salmon ===== I know you all have your favorite!!! Please respond. Stove top works real well, just add some bagged chicken. Also there are some just add water complete meals. These should be near the ramen in your local grocery store. The Asian ones are a crowd pleaser in my group.

Ill second the stove top stuffing with chicken suggestion. We prepare an envelope of gravy and add the chicken to it. Spoon the chix/gravy over the stuffing when you serve it.

My favorite source for simple-cooking meals is www.trailcooking.com

Tuna Helper works well. You can use powdered milk, butter, and the foil pouch of tuna. There are lots of box meals in the regular grocery store aisle such as Zatarains beans & rice, etc. Most of these just need water and then either butter or oil (or sometimes it can be omitted). Walk down the boxed dinner aisle and check the cooking instructions.

Dehydrated hamburger on top of instant mashed potatoes smothered in brown gravy. Comfort food for the trail. Add rehydrated veggies if you want health food.

I'll toss my 2 bits in for Zatarains. Bear Creek Soups are also a big hit. Just add some pouched chicken to both.
