Try shopping at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Ask them. I did when I took someone who was allergic to dairy. I came home with Soy cheese and soy milk. Great on tacos and the milk was used for cereal. I usually toss my menu after the trip and I cant remember what else I made.
The natural food section at my local grocery store (Coborns) has tons of gluten and dairy free items (like pastas, pancake mix and cheese). If you can find it, Quinoa (pronounced keen-wa) is a small grain that cooks up quickly and makes a good substitute (and more nutritious) for couscous (which is actually a pasta). There's many places that sell it online. Otherwise go heavy on rice based meals.
