No, unfortunately not mine, but if you are going to take a vicarious trip to WCPP this year you have to watch the 19 day trip Koen Tholhuijsen's youtube channel. It has everything, photography/video, fish, caribou, beauty, teamwork, relaxing music, sun, rain, wind, with excellent editing. They have 3 parts posted so far, more to come. Probably the best advertisement you could have for the park. I really hope the border is open next year.

Agreed. I just watched the third installment and was very happy to see there would be a 4th. An absolutely lovely documentation of a fabulous trip. I try to study the video in hopes I can get better at documenting my own travels. I love watching it, though it hurts me that I’m not packed and driving up there right now. This is my third year in a row I’ve had to cancel.

Three times is a bummer, jaywalker! I hope we don't have to do that next year. . .
There's some very nice video in there. Personally, I like that there's not a lot of talk in the video, but I'm not a big fan of too many fish pictures. Also not a fan of speeded up portions.

I was hoping for my first trip to the WCPP this summer but obviously not going to make it due to the border being closed. I did watch the first 3 videos and am looking forward to the 4th. Unfortunately, great videos like that probably means more people on that route next few years. Also, with the border being closed, probably the WCPP will have more visitors next year than normal.

I was thinking that too, but I will take that as long as the border is open by then.

It has been very enjoyable watching this series. Sure miss not getting a trip in this year.
I would not worry about crowds descending on WCPP. Even with the big push that Red Lake Outfitters put on before closing shop, the numbers remain below a thousand a year.
Added to that is the powers-that-be stopped allowing Ontario Parks to visit the sports shows a few years ago. Goldseekers Outfitting does a lot of Facebook, but overall, there is very little advertising going on now.
As for the route, there are a lot more places to go than the Haven to Mexican Hat milk run that has been pushed so hard lately.

Just finished Part 1. Very nice video, editing and sound. Man, they caught a lot of nice lakers. Looking forward to watching the others.

DentonDoc,
Thanks for posting that Part V is up.
I really enjoy Keen’s You Tube Video Series. They are walleye fish catching machines ... heck, he was catching walleye in WCPP using a birch stick and safety pin rod. You gotta love it.

Captn Tony: "I watched the video, so have a question.
Is it legal to cut down standing trees in wcpp?
"
No.
It would likely be overlooked if it was a standing DEAD tree and posed an eminent safety threat.
