I have this book and it has some good ideas about survival skills. It is called SAS and that stands for British Special Air Services. SAS

Her is a bunch of books. I personally have the survival kit book. It has an amazing amount of info. Its all gear related and putting together a survival kit for different circumstances. Survival Books I would like to get the staying alive book but I don't think it is out at Barns and Nobile yet.

I have the older version of this book, so I assume the updated one is even better:

Deep Survival#

Not so much about survical techniques as it is about attitude.

I have that book also and I agree that half of the battle is in your own head.
