If you happen to get a new Kni-Co or other stove that comes in a box. - save the box. I have well over 100 nights camping and am still using my original box. I made a very simple Cordura cover for my box, and when it transporting my my stove I close it up and it makes a perfect small table. You won’t find a cheaper, lighter, more packable table anywhere. I usually set it by the head of my sleep set up and use it for all the stuff I might want to find at night, or as a stand for snacks or coffee while cooking. The box also can hold the 4-panel heat shield for behind the stove, a shield for underneath the stove , and one of the Snowtrekker hearths.
The blue strap holds it all together and makes a convenient carrying handle.

Yep, very good suggestion. I didn't save mine. However, I recently picked up this stove bag from a member on another site and it is exactly what I have been looking for. Big enough for the stove, reflectors, welding blanket, and a little table that I built. Good quality work because the guy also winter camps too. Woodstove Bag

That’s a great looking stove bag, and I’m pretty sure I recognize the work from when Wintertrekker, com was up. Excellent stuff as I recall. Can you show us the table you made? I’m always look in for more off-the-ground shelf space.
I know most will have long tossed out their boxes, but if one wanted to it would not be too hard to shape one to fit by starting with a moving box and some tape.

Jaywalker,
Its a pretty simple table. Short because we are usually sitting on the ground or in Crazy Creek chairs. It's size is dictated by the length and width of the stove, which in turn decides how long the folding legs are. We might reinforce it a bit more and see if it can be turned into a table/stepstool.
