Ethan, very nice shots. Is that a huge crappie in the first shot or are my eyes deceiving me? Love the silhouette shot of you (I assume) and the canoe against the beautiful fall BWCA background.

You are correct. There was a group of otters that were pulling crappies out of the Isabella River one after another.

More beautiful fall color pictures! Soon it will be fall here and I'll get to have my second one.

Thanks for posting the great photos. I really like the squirrel and the otter. That takes some real skill and patience to get such great shots of wildlife.

I like pictures of fall colors as much as the next guy, but do really need 3 threads in less than a week? Can't people just post on a single thread?

LOVE the squirrel! For some reason that shot made me laugh out loud. I trying to decide what that look on the squirrel's face is telling me!

The Aspen trees in Minnesota were the best maybe ever. They had such a rich golden yellow color with the lives looking alive with a lot of moisture in them. The wet summer helped a lot and maybe the late spring effected maturity of leaves?

All I know is they were beautiful this year and this week as they were falling in the water and sinking I was catching rainbow trout. Nothing else needs to be said. I am one lucky person.
