quote rmacm13: "Good morning! I'm heading north to Ely, MN this summer(early July) and was wondering what is the earliest has anyone picked blueberries? Thanks!" Depending on location it could be anywhere from the 2nd week of July to the first week of August.

Late June. But, i wouldn't count on seeing ripe ones by then. Usually mid July - mid August is prime time.

Tripped early to mid-July on Gunflint side last 3 years, never had trouble finding them.

Used to find them all of the time when I went on Fourth of July trips.

You will need to hope for a warmer than average season with adequate rain to get a bumper crop. By the 10th, we have had some success, Early picking for us tends to be on slopes facing westerly.
