ockycamper	05/03/2017 06:21PM Our teams have used Seagull Outfitters for 4 years. Bunkhouse works well in that it has a common area and picnic tables to eat breakfast at. Very nice showers.

LetsGoFishing	05/01/2017 03:58PM I've only stayed at Tuscarora and Rockwood. Tuscarora's bunkhouses are nicer, but they don't have a private bathroom, which was really convenient. I like to get a really early start, and Tuscarora's breakfast is too late for me. I'd stay at either, depending on my entry point.

" Hungry Jack Lodge and Hungry Jack Outfitters are not affiliated in anyway other than being on the same lake. the Lodge has cabin accommodations and some campsites. The Outfitters has 2 cabins and bunkhouses, separate showerhouse (very clean!).

landoftheskytintedwater	05/01/2017 01:20PM I've stayed in bunkhouses at Tuscarora and Rockwood off the Gunflint. Tuscarora is my preference-clean, option for a good breakfast in the AM.

" Have used Tuscarora for a long time, they have several large bunk houses that would accommodate your group.
boonie	05/01/2017 12:06PM The only place I've stayed out the Gunflint was Rockwood Outfitters bunkhouse. Bunkhouses are basic, but each room there had a bathroom with shower.

cowdoc	04/30/2017 08:26PM end of trail....Seagull, Voyageur....then Tuscarora, Gunflint. Mid Trail.....Rockwood, Hungry Jack. Eastern....Clearwater. I would rate them all as decent or better depending on your comfort level. I'm always happy with them.

Ray59	04/30/2017 06:34PM Hi, Does anyone know of a good place to stay overnight before put-in along the Gunflint? We looked at one of the bunkhouses on a trip a few years back and opted to sleep in a tent instead. Are there any bunkhouses that are decent? Trying to avoid the long(er) drive from Grand Marais and a cabin seems like overkill. Thanks Ray
