06/03/2017 10:01PM nope, not even sure where that lake is! my only trip so far has been from CrossBay to Cherokee and the lakes surrounding Cherokee. no walleyes, but nice trout and northern. i did not fish but my paddle partner caught a nice sized for eating trout on opener. |

06/01/2017 07:12PM suggesting early June for better fishing. i don't know anything about the Ely side but i'm sure the fishing forum would have past threads, or you could also post your thread in that forum... (if you already have, sorry, i read threads top to bottom). |

06/01/2017 06:43PM Been to the Boundary Waters five of last six years. Overall great experiences. We've been there in May , August and September. Fishing results have varied from fair to good. It would be nice to catch a few more fish on next year's trip. I'm open-minded to suggestions for time and place we might need to go next year. Could someone suggest what might be a better-than-average time to go for fishing and what lake or lakes would be advisable? We would generally be interested in the Ely area entry points. Thanks for any help that's offered. |
