Interesting Loop. I have been thru Cache Bay Silver Falls and on up into the Falls Chain many times. I have not been down thru Otterback though I have heard it is and looks on Satellite a very cool lake.

What is your goal?

The Silver Falls portage isn't the easiest portages. If your goal is Otterback I would forget the loop and consider the southern to get there earlier and enjoy more time there. Then you have the option of taking a day trip North to Jasper or South to Knife.

Silver Falls is a long up and steep down portage. You do not see much of the falls other than at the top and the bottom. If you want to take that loop to add this in your trip for scenic value it is not worth it. The rest of the Falls chain offers much in this area but imo Silver Falls other than a photo op at the beginning not very much.

I have not been to Otterback, Jasper nor Knife. They look very cool. IMO if these are your goals I would get there the easiest way possible and enjoy more time there.
Enjoy your trip and please share.

Has anyone done this loop before? https://www.seagulloutfitters.com/canoeing-quetico/silver-falls-jasper-ottertrack/

I am headed up there in a couple weeks and wondering if anyone has advice around hot fishing spots, which lakes are worth and not worth fishing, any cool hiking trips, or other scenery worth exploring, great campsites to go after, etc.,??

Any tips or insight are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
