I stayed here with my family in 2013. Caught bass right off the front of the campsite. Nice secluded spot.

Site 1676 is a pretty nice site. It is on an inlet off the lake so it is petty secluded and private. Nice and wide open with plenty of tent sites. There is a ridge right behind it you can climb for a nice view. The landing is a mix of sand and gravel, makes coming and going very pleasant. Have a good trip.

We lucked into 1678 on our last day a few years back and it would be great for what you describe. A little worn but only sit on island with trails around it, ok lsnding and swimming. Hard to rely on being available. We were just lucky.

If it's the site next to the rapids that come down from Lake Two on the northeast arm of Lake One, then I'd suggest skipping it. It has one of the most difficult paths to the pit toilet that I've ever seen. We had lunch there and it was nice for that and the rapid is fun. There was another site nearby that might be better. Neither of these sites were on our maps.

we're planning a trek for first-timers, our grandkids who are tweens. Need advice on a campsite outside the burn area and out of traffic for good experience. Noticed site near entry that's next to a rapids. Advice?
