plainspaddler	09/02/2017 09:24AM We put in at Mudro in 8/19 and the only problem we had with skeeters was for about 30-45 minutes right after sundown. Then they went away. So I would say September they should be no problem with the cooler temps in the evening. Mike

egknuti	08/27/2017 08:53PM Hardly any. But it depends on where you're going. If you're in the Isabella area it seems there's mosquitos no matter what the conditions.
1bogfrog	08/27/2017 08:37PM The mosquitoes dropped off precipitously after the frost this past week. I expect by the beginning of September they will be no issue at all.

There may be the occasional horsefly in the day when it's calm out too. Head nets won't be necessary unless you're out at dusk. It's my favorite time to trip. Less people and bugs.
