08/28/2017 09:32PM What 1bogfrog said. We were there Friday last week. The midway low point was sloppy and then some calf to knee high water. Had to do the foot shuffle through some of it as we couldn't see the bottom. The worst part of it was getting cold feet - literally. |

08/28/2017 04:10PM All the portages up that way have some wet areas right now after the rain last week and through the weekend. The boardwalk area over the creek/marsh right at the half way point is under water to mid-calf, and likely to remain so due to beaver activity. It is sound though, and easily visible, so just stay right on it when you cross and be prepared for wet feet. Same long but relatively uneventful portage as ever, just soggier. |

08/28/2017 02:28PM There were some posts earlier this summer. I did it early July. Nothing special except it is long and wading is not an option in more than one place. |
