quote quark2222: "Maybe tell some bear hunters about this felonious bear needing to get right with his/her life before it is too late? Just a thought.

Already done! :-) Have a customer coming up in September and is making his decision of where to get a permit for. We'll see if this bear keeps causing problems, if so, he'll probably go there.

Subject: Agnes Bear report

We’ve not heard anything from the Agnes Bear most of the summer but yesterday evening on Site #40, the southeastern most campsite on Agnes, a bear tore the bottom out of a pack hung between two trees and pulled a box of food and fishing tackle out of the pack. The bear dragged the box quite a distance to the northeast of the site. The group tracked their box by following a trail of garbage and damaged items from other campers.
