09/30/2017 07:32PM Have a great trip Dave. If you've been hanging around here for a while you have way more knowledge than I did on my first trip. |

09/06/2017 07:13AM Have a great trip! Please keep hiking though - lots of BWCA hiking trails that need to be used too. Remember you don't have that pack to hold your back together anymore while paddling and lifting canoes. I learned the hard way this year. |

09/05/2017 05:45PM Hey, I hope you have a good trip. Like Jackfish said, let us know how it goes. What day are you entering? And where are you heading? |

09/05/2017 03:51PM Glad you told us, davionics. You're going to have a great time. Be sure to pop back in after your trip and tell us about it - all that went right and anything that may not have gone right. It's all part of the process. |

09/05/2017 03:29PM Hello everyone, I've never posted before but I've been a regular on this site for the past year doing research on every subject known to man (canoeist)...lol. I've been able to find enough answers to my questions to feel comfortable about my trip plans so my brother and I are now looking forward to a 10 day trip starting next week out of Gunflint. If this is half as enjoyable as I think it will be I will retire my backpack and the BWCA and Quetico will become my place to go. So I just wanted to say thank you to those who continually provide advice for everyone; it has been very helpful. Thanks again! Dave |
