09/15/2017 11:04PM Thanks, you two, for the expert advice! Two tarps sounds like a great idea! I have a 10x10 that I made the first year we went into the BW and a Kelty Noah 12 that I got off of woot.com that should keep us covered and dry for the forecasted rainy evenings. |

09/15/2017 10:09PM We were out in Quetico last week and the bugs were minimal to nonexistent. By the end of the month they should simply be nonexistent. I would not bring the screen tarp. With a lot of people and dogs though, you might consider a second tarp. It's been a wet season. Enjoy! |

09/15/2017 08:39PM The bugs should not be a problem. I would not bother to bring the screen tent. |

09/15/2017 06:16PM We're heading in at Wood Lake on Sept. 21 for 5 days. Does anyone have an idea how the bugs will be? We have a Nemo screen tarp, but we're thinking maybe just a tarp would be ok. This year there will be my 3 sons, my DDIL, my oldest son's friend, me and 3, yes, 3 dogs...my 19# poodle mix and my son and DDIL's 2 German shepherd 3-month-old pups. This should be interesting. |
