09/28/2017 07:28PM We came down it at the beginning of July and it was all passable, but only just in spots, and I'm sure the water is lower now. Going up it would be tricky even when we went. I'm thinking it would be better to take the portage now. Ask at the Kawishiwi ranger station though, they may have better knowledge. |

09/28/2017 12:34PM Even in high water, going UP the Oyster River won't save you any time. This time of year it will be lower water, slowing you down even more. Take the Portage from Agnes if you're trying to travel quickly. |

09/27/2017 09:21PM Going up the Oysters River from the Nina Moose River can be difficult this time of year. I’d opt for going through The Agnes portage to the Oyster River. |

09/27/2017 07:21PM Has anyone gone down the Nina Moose river into Oyster Lake avoiding Lake Agnes lately? We're planning on going thru there Saturday and are looking to save some time going to Gebeonequet Lake. |
