06/01/2018 09:02PM Don't worry *too* much about the weather. If Pick isn't going, head to the B-Chain -- smaller lakes with moving water will have 'em going. |

06/01/2018 03:27PM This dip in temps is only 5 degrees F below seasonal norms and its right back above normal by Tuesday. Personal opinion.....marginal if any affect. For early June in Quetico that's a money forecast. Go get 'em. Negative thoughts will not produce positive outcomes. |

05/31/2018 08:30PM If all else fails troll deep cranks at drop offs and points--deeper fish seem to be less affected by cold fronts. Also troll for trout in the basins on wind swept side. Sometimes ya never know...I've had some of my best days during cold fronts where the fish were not supposed to be biting. |

05/31/2018 08:27PM Lakers and waldos should be active. If you have a fish finder, it will help. They should be in or near summer locations. |

05/31/2018 07:48PM Heading in to Pickerel out of Stanton Bay on Sunday. Afraid these last two hot weeks followed by the cool front coming in has sabotaged our fishing plan. Anyone have any idea what we might expect fishing wise? |
