Looking better all the time. Trees are about 6 feet+ tall. Most camp sites were covered with water in the fire so they are good. I would not hesitate to go to that area.

Hey everybody,
I'm taking my oldest grandson in via Lake One in early July. I was doing some reading of excellent materials put out by the Forest Service re the Pagami Creek Fire. They had a map showing the extent of the fire; it seemed to completely wrap around Lake 3, 4, Hudson, and it came up to the south side of 1 and 2. Check out their website for some really interesting info.

It's obviously been a while now, but I wondered about the condition of the landscape around there. Is it still pretty charred yet? Are the newer trees reaching a bit higher?

My concern is that I don't want to be camping in an area where it's a big overgrown field with giant charred marshmellow sticks pointing to the sky.

Had really wanted to camp on Lake 3 especially, for a few days.

What's the current status this spring so far?
