08/19/2018 09:24AM They have new ownership this year. Great folks, very accommodating and very personable. They helped me with a damaged canoe, without hesitation. It is a great place, great people, and I would highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, I'm headed there in two days. |

08/18/2018 11:11PM I stayed there a night in 2017 also. Great facility and great breakfast but I think the owner in 2017 was Carolyn Giles. It looks as though it has new ownership now if that makes any difference. You might want to consider Camp Quetico also. It is also in the Giles family IIRC and offers cabins and boat rentals too. Geofisher will have a report on Camp Quetico after his trip there. Good luck. |

08/18/2018 07:37PM Last year, my Quetico Lake crew stayed a night at Indiaonta and entered the park early the next morning. We got in about 9PM, nice clean cabin, a good sleep, hot shower, and the lady had a good breakfast for us. Even had our park permits for us, so we could bypass the Beaverhouse ranger station. Next year, we may have a family that wants to spend the whole week in a cabin, day fish, but not camp. Has anyone spent the week at Indiaonta? Looks nice, small motorboats, only place on the whole lake, cabins with electric and water and kitchens. Not my traditional tent camping, but may be what the family desires. Any reports to share about spending a week there? |
