However, there are portages in and out of Lower George that need to be used to get to Karl. Both are short and relatively easy though there is a bit of a climb on the trail into Karl. Trip report from last year.
Heyfritty	08/04/2022 11:38PM I’m going in at EP50 on Saturday and see that there is a portage and also what appears to be a channel from Rib to Karl. Looking on Google Earth, the channel appears to be relatively wide. Anyone know if it’s passable? This is a last minute trip, so I haven’t taken the time to do a search. Hopefully you experts know. Thanks in advance!! Fritty
