Enjoy the trip, Noodle! Would be great to hear how your trip goes as I plan to do a similar route in September. :)

Ultimately I plan to loop all the way around the Weeny PMA, so getting up to North, then down through Slim, Little Loon, Heritage, Lynx, back east through Hustler and Oyster. I'm not the biggest fan of thigh-deep boot-sucking mud underneath an inch of water in a so-called creek, so if it's not a hella windy day, I'll hedge those bets and cut out at least one creek.

If you're back by the middle of next week, be sure to tell me what it's like!

That makes a great loop! Decide the direction based on wind the first day. I’m heading to that area this weekend.

Thanks for the update! I'm coming in from EP16 and trying to decide if I want to head up through Oyster/Rocky/Gebe and that creek, or take the long way through Lac La Croix and then cut across to Pocket. Pros and cons either way; if it's windy I'm sure I'd rather be on the smaller lakes fighting through the muck. Though, if it's almost guaranteed low water, it might make more sense to roll the dice on LLC and hope for smooth water.

I took in late June. There is a beaver dam on the upper portion of the creek. The water levels were quite low below the damn. It was a lot more effort paddling through the weeds.

Has anyone recently taken the creek from Ge-be-on-e-quet up to Pocket Lake, and if so, how was it? Ideally someone with the past few weeks, but any news from this year would be helpful.

I checked for recent trip reports, but came up dry (which I hope the creek isn't).
