We entered on May 31st with no ban and had fires each night to help knock down the mosquitos. It didn't seem terribly dry and we had strong rain Sunday afternoon and night.

A friend of mine even asked about a kelly kettle which if you've seen one of these in action, it looks like a fairly self-contained burn with minimal risk of ash escaping. The park said no to that as well. I guess one can't be too careful when it's dry out there.

There should be a fire ban in BWCA also. Fire danger is high and burning restriction are in place.

No, you cannot.

No stick stove, no alcohol stove, no esbit stove, etc. - only gas stove with a shutoff valve.

Hello,
There’s a fire ban in Quetico . Can we still use a stick stove?
Thanks!
