07/08/2023 07:02AM Well you are going to have an awesome trip going in at the falls chain. Not sure how many days you have but on the way if you can fish the current areas in the evening on Saganagons for walleye. On the way down the chain if you get a chance a detour into McQuen is worth the effort if you would like to catch some lake trout. Fish the north end were there is a huge underwater reef. |

07/08/2023 01:22AM Well, a last minute zig means we need to zag and my son and I are going to enter at the Falls Chain ep into Quetico. We were going to start by flying up to Clay and paddling down the creek to the Wawiag into Kawnipi. But the creek is dry now and we are going to paddle in and head up the Falls Chain. Im looking for advice on the lakes up that way for some fishing base camp options. We have 8 days. Going in on the 14th-22nd. Was still planning on heading to Kawnipi but there are a few more options now that we are starting from the south. Ideas? Fishing and some out of the main travel routes solitude are our preferences. |
