03/24/2009 10:11AM The fishing was pretty good except for the real sunny days. The only time I miss bait is when we are at camp for the evening. It's always nice to have a couple leeches floating off the bottom in front of camp while we relax. That tends to be very effective for us as well. Glad you folks enjoyed the report! Hex |

03/24/2009 09:39AM Great report. You had a lot of detail. It was fun to read. I'm amazed at the number of fish caught without live bait. I guess it just goes to show it can be done. |

03/20/2009 09:57PM A wonder of a trip. So was the dream catcher hanging on a tree a good luck charm for the rest of the journey? I suppose a spare paddle will now be standard gear on future trips :) I have traveled the Trans Canadian (BC to Quebec) many times. The section along Superior is my favorite. The Inukshuk along the road cuts are always fun to watch for. Very creative builders up there. The north shore of Superior is phenomenal. Along the way, my favorite Park is Neys and my favorite tourist spot is Pancake Bay. Nice writing. Thanks for taking me there |
