08/20/2011 10:07AM Great report. I remember my first trip in as a Boy Scout fondly. Mmemories that will last a lifetime. I'm currently waiting for the boy to get a little older and move onto Boy Scouts so I can partake in some trips like this. Would actually like to get into an assistant scoutmaster position if possible. Those were good days. |

08/02/2011 02:33PM Sounds like you guys did everything right. You were efficient on the trail, kept the trip costs down, and had a great time! No doubt, many of the scouts have gained an appreciation for the Great Outdoors in general, and the Canoe Country in particular. The years of my youth that I spent in the Boy Scouts, and the trips we took, are among my most cherished memories. |
