quote catfish72: " I have always used a small bungee cord and it works good. I can not tell you why other than that I could not find any thing else at the time. I did buy a pair of "Skipulk" poles this year and they came with a Velcro wrap that you are supposed to tape in place ( it is the same thing that you use to use to hold all your cords together behind the stereo or TV). the whole pole system works great but the jury is still out on weather the Velcro works any better than the bungee. "

I'll put my money on the bungee.

Can someone educate me on the ideal device to use at the intersection of your pulk poles? What do you use, why do you use, how do you use, etc? I understand the simple physics of how crossing helps you through turns and how some sort of clip at the intersection should help with stability, but maybe someone can give the blow by blow and really tear into this. All field use stories and further advice appreciated. Right now my clip is an old belt buckle that just barely slips over my two poles. It is pretty snug which got me wondering if snug is not ideal.
