McVacek	08/31/2013 10:14PM Looking forward to winter already! :) We had a tough time our first winter trip with starting a fire on the ice. Our friend, Joe kept trying and finally we realized to build the wood base. And then we had a great fire in below zero weather. Not sure if it was the camp toddy that kept us warm or the fire, but either way, the fish didn't bite. We snowshoed via Wood on our second trip, but we went to Good Lake. Then you can day trip to Basswood and catch Northerns! :) Happy Camping!
