09/20/2013 08:51AMquote Savage Voyageur: "Thanks for the trip report, what is the name of that tarp/bugnet?" Its called the Nemo BugOut Shelter. You can find it on REI.com. It comes in a 9x9 and 12x12. We had the 12 foot version and it was incredible. It weighs 7 lbs, which is obviously pretty heavy, but I think of everything we brought it was one of the most necessary items. We took it instead of a couple other tarps that probably weighed about 1lb so its only like 5 lbs additional weight. We just trimmed other items to save weight and it was awesome. Kept rain and bugs out. |

09/09/2013 09:25AM love your storytelling! couldn't open some of the photos but the ones that did open were good looking fish. sounds like your family really gets along well and is suited to tripping together. maybe your mom could rent herself out as a camp cook for folks who like to linger? |
