One sled is 12 foot the other is 14 foot. We are thankful we didn't have to pull anywhere this time because in that cold of temps that sleds pull like lead weight. We brought our sled out ice fishing and it was like torture to pull. We had to take turns and it was still tough. And that was a light sled weight compared to our normal. We made our sleds about two years ago and they usually work great. We are big fans of the creature comforts that could make winter camping possible for anyone. We just haven't had any takers! :) |

Ridiculous cold you were dealing with! I was hoping there might be a picture or two of your sleds (which undoubtedly were pretty big/full). I am an UL packer at heart but it is tough with winter camping because there are a lot of necessities before you start adding in comfort upgrades and ice fishing gear. |
