Hey there thwarted,

Awesome to hear from you and sure I will fill you in on all the details. Old Grey Goose has been helping me out. I sure love this forum. So many people loving nature and sharing their experiences. I'll talk to you soon. Moosehopper

Hi Moosehopper, Email me your address and I will send you what I know. What is your intended route after sturgeon lake. I will be entering Beaverhouse on the 21 of June for 9 days. Anthony

Moosehopper,
Can't help you but wanted to say hello. The best to you and your hunt for the water wolf. Already thinking of Jean for 2015 so give us some feedback. I'll be bringing a friend and his two boys so your insight will be valuable. One of these days our paths will cross out there.

I have never "targeted" them, but I'd suggest Jean, around Ivy Island -- had one scare the crap out of me trying to take a bass lure hanging over the side of the canoe. Also have it on good authority that Badwater-Omeme-Bee is a good big pike area.
+1 on "great area"

I'm envious already. Great area.

Alright ladies and gentlemen,

Ready to head in on Quetico lake via Beaverhouse June 5 , with lots of time on my hands. It is really exciting heading to a new part of the park. I have 14 days but may need to cut back a little if my son starts to miss the land of cars. Has any body targeted large pike in the Jean and Sturgeon lake area. If so could you share some nice moving water areas where some big pike can be found or some weedy areas connected to deeper water. Thanks in Advance.

Moosehopper,
