I'd take the first campsite on the north where Lost Bay opens up. But not if the campsite across the channel from it is taken. Great fishing in Lost Bay and I'm sure it is just as good in North Bay.

One tent - I'd seriously consider lost bay but a lot if island sites in north bay with great southern exposure.

Smallmouth can be found just about anywhere. Lake trout fishing can be good by Cigar Island. Fishing is good on all sides of Neil Island. I fish smallmouth almost all the time and use topwater baits, pre -rigged rubber worms, Zulu baits(check out zulu rigging in fishing forum),tube jigs, twister tails , and crank baits. I also like to troll a 1oz. Red Eye spoon. These were productive lures last year.
~JOE~. ps I am jealous I fish North Bay every year but no trip for me this year.

Quit a few great sites on North Bay. How many tents in the group? I like the one just west of the route to South but have several others I like.
