Sorry for the delay. I don't have a lot of pictures of portages. This one may be too easy, but here goes. Looking east-northeast.

Confusion to One.

Sorry if you are a little confused about this one. One of my sons, who fancies himself a mountain goat, rock hopped to the middle of the river with my camera. You are looking at the portage all along the left hand side of the river. One of the people standing on the portage in the upper left is me and the other is another son. If you check the bushes, I believe that you can even see the canoe we set down for the picture. My direction is correct - east by northeast.

Another clue - The lake on the west end of this portage is more often accessed from the west, but we came across from the east.

I have learned this evening that my brother has died. I will not be able to consistently monitor these posts. The portage is from the Kawishiwi River (above Fishdance Lake) to Alice Lake. Someone else should post a new photo if you want to continue the game.
