Yes, we have leeches.
Don't think the forum allows advertising prices.

Besides, the batter fried leeches are quite filling and tasty.

With the earlier spring I wonder if the leech people got into ponds earlier and thus a much better harvest?

What the best way to transport and keep leeches alive on a BWCA trip?

Just to keep the record straight, he didn't call us!
We are selling medium leeches that aren't anywhere close to that much!

A bait king is pretty solid but the big ones are huge. We use an old nalgene with two caps. One has a bunch of holes about 1/8" wide drilled in it. Solid cap while traveling and the hole cap while fishing or at camp.

Ballpark figure, about 16 dozen (give or take)

How many can you hold in the nalgene bottle? At least a couple days worth? Do you leave the bottle in the water overnight?

I have no idea on numbers but you can fit a lot in. Definitely enough for a few days. We keep it in the lake all the time. Just tie it up.

Leach bags work great. Just tie them off to the canoe while paddling and toss them in the water while at camp.
