PLUS, the parking on Bearskin can be crowded with day-trippers to the Bluffs overlooking Rose. If you use HJO, you just paddle from their dock to a short portage from HJ Lake to Bearskin. Across the "Bears" left south arm, and paddle to the top of his head and your portaging into Duncan. Easy trip from HJO.

Bearskin Wilderness outfitters is just up the road - they have treated us and friends very well - small outfitter - but high quality gear and very reasonable price.

Thanks for the info. Hungary Jack will be contacted very soon by me. We only need a bunk house before we enter, boats for the trip, and a shower after we get back is always nice!
