Wondering if anyone has used the Berkley solutions fishing line and how it compares to XL?

I just used some 8 lb and I didn't have good luck with it. Broke off 2 steelhead and lost some lures. Knot strength was not good. Not as limp or castable as XL and it has more memory so it coils up a little more. I am not impressed with any line Berkley makes but this was particularly disappointing. I don't know why I keep giving Berkley a chance. I am just going to stick with Stren Magnathin and change it often.

Sorry I can't give any meaningful feedback, I bought 8# to put on my kids Zebcos. They haven't really tested it hard like an adult would. It doesn't seem to cause rat's nests like other lines. I did not have the same knot issues, my oldest caught an 18" smally on it no issues---but once again no hard core fishing experience.

I will say this one of the fishing pros I listen to on the radio brought it up like it was going to be great when it first came out (Berkly sponsors him), but haven't heard him mention it since.
