The majority of my camping trips are solo or with one other person so I own a 2 person tent (which I love - MSR Hubba Hubba). I'll be going on a trip with 2 other guys this year so I will need a larger tent but want to avoid having to buy one that I will rarely use. I like to have a little extra room in the tent so I'm thinking a 4 person tent would work perfectly.

Does anyone have experience with renting tents from an outfitter in the Ely area? I don't want a 15 year old heavy tent, looking for something lightweight with more modern features, something along the lines of Big Agnes, MSR, even REI.

Most all of them will have what your looking for...

Weight's not as big an issue with more guys vs. solo, but check Piragis and Voyageur North. They are the ones I have past experience with.
