Looking for good footwear for portaging? I just returned from trekking the often wet/mucky/rocky portage to/from Caribou Lake (access point 62 at Clearwater Lake) and found my 5.11 Tactical Speed 3.0 jungle boots to be just the ticket to tackle those kinds of portages! Great ankle support and protection, and good traction to boot (no pun intended). They are billed as fast drying, and although I wouldn't say they dried fast, I highly recommend these boots!
