It's doubtful that I'm the first to have noticed, and I don't think I'm the first to say it, but I would like to send a note of congratulations to Queticomike for the article in the BWJ that just came in the mail.

Way to go Mike! Hope to see your stories in every issue from now on.

I was thinking the same thing but just haven't gotten around to posting. Way to go Mike! What's really impressive is not 1, but 2 full page photos.

Thanks! Those weren't the best fish of that trip in the late season of 2015, but the first one he used was due to the sun making the picture brighter. Stu doesn't like to use a picture unless the sun is shining on the subject. The second picture was used due to the fact that you could see moving water in the picture, not a trophy fish as he indicates in the magazine. I have caught much nicer fish, but these fit what the magazine was trying to portray.

Stu said he is always impressed with the size of the smallmouth I catch in late August and early September and asked me to write a piece on how I do it and compare it to my spring fishing trips.

This was the 19th time I had been published or had a picture in the BWJ. The majority have been my poetry.
