I have a Katydyn basecamp that I converted to Sawyer system. The basecamp filters plugged too frequently.

I really like the basecamp bag. It is very easy/quick to get a couple of gallons and hang for filtration.

But... my bag is getting old and starting to leak. I can't seem to find another bag that is so big and so easy to fill. Any ideas?

People have converted all kinds of containers for use, depending on much DIY you're willing to do and how big you need, but if you don't want to do that, MSR Dromedary bags come in several sizes, one of which should suit your needs.

My homemade system consists of a simple 12 liter collapsible bucket for the dirty water siphoned over the edge of the bucket through a 0.02 Sawyer filter followed by a Katadyn activated charcoal filter and into a 10 liter MSR Dromedary bag. I use Kent Systems quick couplings/fittings and Kent Acrolene XP tubing.

I've thought about using a MSR Drom for the dirty water, but the bucket is so easy to fill and much easier to clean.

I use MSR Dromedary bags with a Sawyer filter. 2 gallon collapsible container for groups.

The evernew 2l bag is the one I use with my sawyer. Added a couple of grommets to hang it.

Ardwich, That looks perfect but I can't find it on walmart.com. Do you have a brand name or any other information?

Looks to be the vinyl Outdoor Products Dry Bag. Like this one:

Before sawyer, I had the msr gravity. The bag has a fine screen prefilter, so I still use it. Plus msr had an end that screws on to nalgien bottles and sets on a number of options. I do not use the "mini" because I was told it wouldnt work for the gravity system... wrong advice. Only difference is the bigger sawyer is good for a million gallons and the mini is good for a hundred thousand. Haha. So when I get through the next nine hundred ninety nine thousand four hundred gallons, I'm going to switch. Lol!
