Hoping to make it. As always it depends on soccer schedules for the ducklings. Big duckling has been asking all year to spend a night this year so she has more time for playing with her wing night friends.

I would love to meet you and talk to you around the campfire. I'd like to hear about how your upcoming Quetico trip goes (that's going to be a very special and emotional one I'm sure) and of course the side story to the out of place sports car at the Trestle Inn just for starters.

Yes, some campfire talk would be great. Working on making a weekend out of it with my wife. Her sister lives in Howard Lake just west of the venue so she would spend time with her while I drink beer and tell lies. Also, is there paddle worthy water at the campground?.....just wondering if it's worth it to drag a solo along for some paddling time

If you are going to make a weekend out of it consider taking in a Minnesota Vikings football game. They are playing Tampa Bay that Sunday at noon. We have a beautiful new indoor stadium that will host the Super Bowl this year which our team could well be a participant! We were runners-up in FOUR Super Bowls and only lost because of bad officiating.

It's a bit of a drive for me so I'll have to ask momma to see if we can go...

Marshview Group Camp Friday- Sunday Sept. 22-24, 2017.

Barn with 4 110volt electric outlets and lights. Large grassy area, bordered with trees, solar well, pit toilets, large fire ring. Shower facilities at Baker Campground about a mile from Marshview. Any paddling requires a short drive to nearby lakes.

Though a LOT of rain fell last year, all had a great time!
