I know it's still a week out, but The Weather Channel is predicting hi's in the 50's and lo's in the 30's next week? Really?

Seems to be. I like maps with the weather and this source provides one temp forecast map . I also like all the resources in GFS Ready. Just type that in the search bar.

Accuweather says upper 60s to 70 for highs and lows in the mid 40s from this Thursday until next Wednesday in Ely. Perfect.

That would be very nice weather to trip in! Good sleeping weather!

I'll be starting a Q trip on Saturday. The best thing about the 10 day forecast is lack of rain and very mild wind speeds. Nothing over 13 mph and some days around 6 to 7 mph. I'm very excited for this.

I'm all for light winds, but I'm from Oklahoma where even though it's been a cooler than normal summer, I haven't seen a temperature below about 65 since May.

Yeah the few lows in the 30's will take some getting used to. I'll be sleeping in my hammock. Bring the long johns, fleece hat and gloves! Great time of year to be there. Bugs should be way down. :)

I fear the wind more than anything up there. Have a great trip!

No bugs, light winds, big fish! Great time to be there. How long is your trip for?

Thanks Mike. I'm going for 11 nights. I'm gonna check out Veron Camel Cub and McDougal. Bringin' the Z streak. I've got some 4" tubes with red skirt. 1/8 oz heads. I feel good about this trip. Taking your advice and fishing the moving water, swimming crayfish on the bottom. :)
