Steve (inspector13) and I will be in Grand Marais 9/10 and plan to have dinner at My Sister's Place. If you're around then, please join us.

boonie,

When are you headed back through on your return? I'll be heading through GM and up the Gunflint on 9/15 and again on 9/20 or 9/21 on the return.

Are you entering somewhere on the Gunflint on the 15th, Northwoodsman?

Steve and I will be exiting that day on Poplar by early afternoon. He has to get any early start for home. I'll probably be staying somewhere out the Gunflint, but plans are not definite. I plan to re-enter solo on the 17th at Brant for a week.

BTW, I'll probably be the only car (Subaru Outback) around those parts with a WV license.

boonie, I'll be pulling into Rockwood on Poplar Lake on the 15th. I hope to be there before noon. Last year we missed each other by about a day over on the Sawbill side. As it get's closer maybe we would could plan a quick hello.

OK, we'll be exiting from Meeds to the public landing. I think Steve hopes to be out around noon.

Yes, I have to be in Duluth by 3pm.

Well, then we should get out well before noon because Duluth is a 3-hour drive from Poplar Lake ;).
