I just cancelled our Sawbill permit for tomorrow if anyone is looking for a last minute holiday weekend trip.

I woke up with incredible back pain and as I have had some significant issues in the past year, I decided it was a safer bet to skip the long weekend trip. We've got a longer trip planned for next weekend and I want to preserve that one if I can.

(Got lucky and found an open cabin up on the Gunflint Trail so we'll still be able to spend the long holiday weekend up north, just with a little less stress on my lower back)
